Sorry, wish I could help. That's the problem with using Nvidia but not doing it their way.

ya kinda figureed that is what is up.. I will try and get the TH2Go and see if that will fix my problem.. cause whn you use the th2go it reports as a seperate unit and it may confuse the nVdia drivers thinking it might be a crt monitor or possibly it just does NOT know what Monitor you are using and you are able to slect CRT and I then would be able to get it working..

As it is know the Sharp Projector shows up so that is probally why it wont recognise as a crt it recognises it as a sharp DLP Projector and these are not on the certified list ..

Got my fingers crossed the TH2Go un it will fix my woes.. it did before?? If that does not work I am going to then try the EDID Trick again and see if i can get it working that way..

Do they make a EDID Blocked cable??

any help on this issue or am i screwed till i get new projectors or the TH2Go unit??
Sorry, I don't have anything else to add, but I may try to explain myself better. If you already are using a VGA cable and blocking EDID, don't use any .inf file as monitor driver. Let windows use its default "generic non-pnp monitor" inf file. Once you have reach this situation, add to windows register the resolution, color bits and refresh rate you want to use for 3D. To locate the correct register key and know the correct format use the nvidia guide about compressed video modes. You'll have to restart after adding the information to the windows register.

All this was meant to the problems with your projector, sorry 8-/
I think I'm going to stop giving advices. I'm causing troubles to you; at the nvidia forums people wants step by step help and information about setups I just don't have.... to much dedication and pressure for an asocial guy like me.

Well I finally scrapped the money for the TH2Go unit. I just need to deposit the rest of the money and then wait a while till I can buy the unit. But that should not take long I may have the unit by the end of the week..

Hopefully that is going to solve my S3D Woes as of now.. I can get it working in 1 screen just not with the surround active too?? wierd..

People are using the IZ3D driver with some success with various 3D projectors, but I don't think in multi-head configuration.

It mainly has to do with what hardware you are using. For example, DLP projectors can use a variety of DLP-Link glasses. For 3D HDTVs can use the glasses from the manufacturer (ie Sony, Panasonic, etc.). I'm not sure I understand what you are seeking.

I was just seeking something other than nVidia solution.. ;)

But probaly not gonna find anything compatible with my hardware..I have the TH2Go unit on order so hopefully that is going to fix my S3D woes.. altho I will not be able to game at a higher rez having the S3D more then makes up for it ..

IZ3D claims they are going to make some 3D glasses. Hopefully that will come through.

Well that would be really nice and if they made them not as proprietary as nVdia has..I meant it is stupid I have DLP Projectors Capable of S3D but because nVdia says they are NOT certified I can NOT get them to work well I will be able to soon but still not how it should be..

It should (might?) enable the Nvidia driver without actually having Nvidia hardware. So you could be able to use DLP-Link glasses or something like that. Never tried it myself, though.

Well I just recieved the Matrox TH2Go in the mail. I hooked it up and voila S3D is working again like a charm.. It was a little bit tricky to get through the wizard but I finally got it working well the test screen works now with the nVidia logo on it..

Going to go test some games now..

Well it is OFFICIALLY WORKING. ;) :)

I think what happens since the Matrox unit shows as it's own display the Wizard does NOT realise what you really have and you are then able to select CRT or DLP TV for your monitor and get it too work..

BHawthorne if you are still interested in getting other DLP Projectors to work and they are on that list of old school 3D Projectors. By using a Matrox TH2Go unit it will trick into thinking you have a CRT monitor hooked up and get you past the wizard NOT recognising your monitor as NONcertified..

It was a lillte bit more tricky this time I had went up to the point where I can get the Display recognised but it showed up as Not recognised but the CRT and DLP Mionitor showed up so I had it on Discovery and clicked next then on the next screen I went back and then it had automatically selected DLP TV so I ran through the wizard and then when I finished I went into the CP and went back to the S3D Page and then without running the wizard selected CRT Monitor and voila it worked..

so this is a Hack to get S3D working on a NON Certified DLP Projector..

I dub it my "Virtual Simulator" I mostly fly Flight simulators on it like Flaming Cliffs 2 and DCS:A-10C

my setup is in my signature ;)..

I also had a thread in the old school setups about my system when I first got it..
