Hi all

I am trying to get stereo anaglyph working in Microsoft flight simulator X
but when I set the option stereo to enable by hot key flight sim x wont start.
If I choose the enable stereo I can bring up the start menue and in the aircraft select window I get 3D but when I go to "fly now" the sim just closes
Any ideas

You might want to try disabling the DirectX 10/11 mode in the IZ3D driver, and then making sure FSX is running in DirectX9.

Thank you for the reply, got 3d working but only in windows mode when I go to fullscreen the sim closes down.
Fsx was running in DX9 even though I have FSX Gold I only have a series 7 nvidia card so I don't have the option for directx 10/11

How do you disabling the DirectX 10/11 mode in the IZ3D driver?
I have installed just the free anaglyph option

btw great info on youtube re Parallax Barrier, may have to give that a try sometime

Under "Driver Settings" there is an option "Enable D3D10/11 Driver". I had problems with it in the past, so I have it disabled. Not sure if that's your issue though.

Can you point me to the location of "Driver Settings" I have opened the iz3d menu and looked in settings but can't find the option to disable D3D10/11 Driver.
Maybe my 7600 nvidia card wont show this option?

I'm using the 1.13 beta. If you have 1.12 it might be in a different section. You could also try downloading the latest beta (not experimental) and see if that helps.

I am using 1.12 drivers, can't find the setting for directx anywhere. Going to download the beta version 1.13 and try that

Ok tried 1.13 beta drivers, still not working in full screen mode only works in window mode.
Gone into in-game setting menu tried full screen mode and auto with no luck
Choose Microsoft flightsim profile, no luck with that either.

Works in Flightsim 2004 in full screen mode

I don't see the disable directx 10/11 option. I assume because I am running XP and have a older nvidia 7600 pci express card that that option is disabled

Ah, ok. If you are on XP maybe you don't see the option.

Yeh, thought that was the case with xp . The problem could be any number of things I guess.
