Heya people,
We're having trouble capturing games in Steroscopic 3D.
The system we're using: 2 GeForce GTX 480 cards w/ SLI Nvidia 3D Vision glasses Asus VG236 screen 6 GB RAM 2 SDD mounted in RAID (150 Gb total, where we capture) 1 GB HDD Intel i7 930 (8 cores)
Fraps 3.2.3 build 11796 Nvidia 3D drivers Version 8.17.12.5896
We've been testing for some time now with several games (DMC4, Command and Conquer 3, Avatar, Crysis) and it's really hard to get any capture working properly: the double display almost always gets some freezes. It seems like the computer can't handle the load, which is strange because you can hardly get as powerful a system.
We've been toying with core balancing, swap file size and of course in-game settings: we're having issues even with the lowest possible resolutions.
So now we read about the iZ3D driver and were wondering if you thought it would help.
Thanks
