Standard High Definition Stereo 3D Format
Does anyone know if the S3D video authoring community (if there is such a thing) has adopted an open S3D standard format for high definition media such as Blueray and HD-DVD? Essentially I'm thinking of HD equivalent to the HQFS (yes I know this is a proprietary standard) and standard field sequential formats that were most commonly used for comercially produced S3D DVDs.

Don't know the answer, but you can find one "S3D video authoring community" in http://movies.groups.yahoo.com/group/3dtv/ Perhaps you can search and find the answer there, or register and post your question there.

Your linking to a confusing collection of links. I couldn't find much about S-3D there. No 3D pics nor videos for download. I have to admit, I didn't search too much though.ssiu wrote:Don't know the answer, but you can find one "S3D video authoring community" in http://movies.groups.yahoo.com/group/3dtv/ Perhaps you can search and find the answer there, or register and post your question there.
Do you have to register to see them?
