Looks like MTBS has reason to celebrate!  We are going to give the SDK an in-depth review, but it's still too early.  We need enough time to try things out before sharing our impressions and recommendations.

In the meantime, we have started to share Kris Roberts' coverage of GDC 2013.  This is going to be a multiplart series with lots of goodies!  Check it out, and be sure to share your comments regularly.

A Real Treat From GDC!

Longtime 3D advocate and gorilla tactics MTBS enthusiast YuriyTheBest (Yuriy Nikshych) was ALSO at GDC this year, and made this impromptu video of himself trying out the Oculus Rift for the first time.  This was a real treat because not only did he share his experience in 3D, he inadvertently met a fellow MTBS member on the spot.  There was a moment where we though the two men would embrace...but that moment passed.

Guess Who Came to Level Up!

Just got back from the Level Up Gaming Showcase. It's really amazing to see all the young talent Ontario universities and colleges have to offer. It's even MORE amazing to see who came down to see what some of these young minds had to share!


Visiting our immersive technology demo was none other than Dr. Steve Mann. With countless inventions under his belt, he is considered the father of wearable computing, he is a tenured professor at the University of Toronto, AND he is the General Chair of the IEEE International Symposium on Technology and Society and Associate Editor of IEEE Technology and Society.
