THE 3D FILM & MUSIC FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES AWARDS

3DFF Wraps Four-day Festival with Out of this World Concert & Awards Announcement

Hollywood, CA (September 27, 2010) – The world’s first and largest all 3D Film & Music Festival (3DFF) presented by RealD and the Los Angeles Film School ended its four-day run closing with the Disclosure Project concert at Avalon Hollywood and an award ceremony celebrating the best of its 3D film & music programs.  The awards were selected by a jury, which consisted of several 3DFF Board Members who previewed the films, shorts & music videos throughout the festival. Christopher Crescitelli, Festival Director, announced the winners to a packed Avalon audience during the Closing Night Gala.  “At 3DFF we try to stay fresh, relevant, and worthy of representing the 3D film community. We proved it this year with our industry panels, innovative fashion and comedy shows and visually-stunning music performances.  You can expect to see more of these types of shows as we grow next year,” stated Crescitelli.

The Closing Night Gala was preceded by a screening of Paramount’s Transformers 3D and the digitally restored 3D Documentary, Siegfried & Roy: The Magic Box where Festival Host, actor Thomas Jane  thanked the crowd, “for coming out and supporting the Festival and the 3D community.  See you next year!”
