Epic: 3D on Xbox has 'room for improvement' but Gears 'looking good'
"We got it working and we think it looks pretty good," says studio president
Xbox 360 has "room for improvement" where stereoscopic 3D is concerned, reckons Epic Games president Mike Capps, but Gears of War 3 supports the feature and looks "really good".
With Sony prominently flying the flag for 3D, Xbox 360 isn't seen as the traditional home for stereoscopic gaming.In fact, there are only a handful of titles that support the feature on Microsoft's box, which is why it was surprising when the platform holder dropped dual-announcements last month that both Halo Combat Evolved: Anniversary and Gears of War 3 will support 3D on Xbox 360
