Shaders makes the game a lot nicer, and the 3D artifact deleted by inactivate the "detailed shaders" option are not major, so you can activate it.

Be aware, in this game, 3D scenes are highly contrasted. Even with my planar, the ghosting is present and can be sometimes annoying.
So I do not recommend to play this game with a LCD 120Hz or with the 22'' iZ3D monitor. The ghosting could be very annoying.
